Born and raised in Wisconsin, Rev. Tenny spent almost 20 years in South Carolina before moving to Pennsylvania in 2018. She received her Master of Divinity from Lutheran Southern Theological Seminary in 2014 and was ordained in the South Carolina conference in 2017. An elder in the United Methodist Church, Tenny considers pastoring her second career ( the first having been a wife and mother) and is in love with this season of serving the Lord. She serves on several committees and boards as part of her ministry, but her passion lies with her parish.  Rev. Tenny is also active in community activities as she is on the Board of Directors for Victims' Resource Center for Luzerne, Wyoming and Carbon counties. Tenny also serves as an 'EMT' for suicidal situations. She has two grown children who have flown the nest, an 'old man' English Bulldog, a fluffball tuxedo cat and a black/white tabby still in it.
