Below we have a list of most of the ministries that we offer here at Tunkhannock United Methodist Church. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible when joining one of our ministry programs. We believe that engaging in fellowship is a very important tool when growing to be more like Jesus. The encouragment of others is a powerful thing.

Small Groups

There are several small groups available right now for you to check out.  The link below will provide more information about each of them to help you choose the one/ones that are best for you.  The days/times also vary to provide you more opportunities to get involved!  We look forward to having you join us.

Missions

The United Missions Team of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church is dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping those in need locally, regionally and internationally. Isaiah 58:10 If you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness. It is our goal to continue to support and look for mission projects that help the less fortunate with their needs, whether they be financial or spiritual in nature.

Children & Youth

Our Children and Youth Ministry is an area where we are continuing to invest effort and grow.  We know that youth are the future of our church.  We have a variety of programs and events geared for all ages, pre-school through High School that help them explore their faith in a fun, safe, social enviornment.  We will tackle hard topics and grow stronger in Christ. Bring a friend every Sunday night at 6pm for Youth Group. We look forward to seeing you there!

Church Has Left the Building

Each year we meet for a brief kick-off worship service and then head out into the community for a day of service. We have about 10 activities in the community ranging from helping non-profits to singing at nursing homes.

Music Ministries

The Tunkhannock United Methodist Church has many ministry opportunities for musicians. They exist to enhance the worship services and give praise to God. For more information contact Sue Pirone at 570-479-5179 or suepirone@hotmail.com.
