Born and raised in Wisconsin, Rev. Tenny spent almost 20 years in South Carolina before moving to Pennsylvania in 2018. She received her Master of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in 2014 and was ordained in the South Carolina conference in 2017. An elder in the United Methodist Church, Tenny considers pastoring her second career (the first having been a wife and mother) and is in love with this season of serving the Lord. She serves on several committees and boards as a part of her ministry, but her passion lies with her parish. She has two grown children who have flown the nest and an "old man" English Bulldog and a fluffball tuxedo cat still in it.
