A typical service includes a responsive call to worship, unison reading, several hymns, music, a Children's Chat, prayer, scripture lesson and message. In the beginning, we typically greet each other, and announcements are at the end before our last hymn.
The first Sunday of the month we celebrate communion and everyone is welcome to partake in it! We typically take communion by intinction, which means we dip the bread into the cup. People partake by coming down the center aisle and returning to their seats by the side aisles. If you are unable to come forward and wish to partake, please let an usher know and it will be brought to you.
We also have a Worship Alive service at 8:30 on the third Sunday, which has a few more upbeat contemporary songs.
