SMALL GROUP OPPORTUNITIES

Small Group #1 - Believe

Join us on Sunday mornings for a book study called Believe..  Led by Ernie King, this group will be meeting on Sunday mornings at 9:45am in the rear of the Sanctuary.

Small Group #2 - Faithful and Inclusive:  The Bible, Sexuality and the United Methodist Church - starting January 12th

A new 6 week Bible Study will be offered in January which will allow you to gain an understanding of how United Methodists can be both obedient to God’s Word and fully welcoming to LGBTQ persons in the church.  The video study is led by Rev. Rob Fuquay, senior pastor of St. Luke’s UMC in Indianapolis, IN.  One study group will be offered on Sunday mornings at 9:45 beginning January 12 and possibly at other times during the week. The stated purpose of the study is to understand better what the Bible says regarding non-heterosexual practices and why it says it; and to consider how Christians committed to upholding Biblical authority can take a non-literal approach to these passages.  If you are interested in joining a study group, please contact the office with your preferred availability.

Small Group #3 - W.O.W. Women

Come join us on Sunday mornings at 9:45am in Sherburne Hall!

Small Group #4 - Lenten Study

Often we make a mess of our lives and wonder if there is any redemption.  Through a book and video by Pastor and author Tom Berlin, we will find help to see our mess through the eyes of Christ to find redemption and restoration.  Pastor Jon will offer two opportunities for this six week study series:  Sunday at 9:45am and Wednesdays at 1:15pm.  Please contact the church office if you're interested to let us know which time would be best for you and if you would like to order a book.
