SMALL GROUP OPPORTUNITIES

Class #1:  M3 - Moving from Maintenance to Missional

We are having a second round of both Evaluation and Prayer Teams.  The new M3 teams will be meeting together using the book.  The Evaluation Team kicked off on Sept 12 at 5:30 in the Education Bldg. led by Jodi Crimmel.  The Prayer Team, led by Terry Baumes will begin meeting on Friday, Sept 14 at 4pm in the Education Bldg.  If you're interested in getting more information about the M3 process, reach out to Jodi or Terry.

Class #2:  Crucial Conversations by Patterson, Grenny, McMillan & Switzler

At times, all of us have to have interactions that are not easy – conversations that can be filled with tension and conflict. In our current climate where there are so many differences of opinion, where stakes are high and emotions run strong, we still need to find ways to communicate effectively and with compassion. Join Pastor Jon on Sunday mornings at 9:45 to discuss the book Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes are High and discover tools for finding mutual understanding and creative synergy in relationship.

Class #3:  Five Practices of Fruitful Living by Schnase

There will be a small group study of this FIVE PRACTICES OF FRUITFUL LIVING beginning on February 4th in the Education Building at 7 pm. The dates will be February 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, March 18th and 25th for our six weeks of group discussion. The very first sentence of the book is a quote from 1 John 4:19 of “We love because He first loved us.” What a way to start! It shortly thereafter says “God’s love for us is not something we have to strive for, earn, work on, or fear. It is freely given!” Please join us for a heartfelt and in depth discussion about how to know, understand and relish in God’s love. Please let Jodi Crimmel know if you need a book at crimmel04@gmail.com and plan to join us on Monday evenings. This study is open to all, please come and bring a friend!
